APEX offers the Iowa Test of Basic Skills  in order to give parents the opportunity to fulfill the requirements of the Colorado Homeschool law to test your child in the odd grade starting at 3rd grade (3, 5,  and 7) on a nationally normed standardized test. This testing is completely optional and is not required of any APEX student. Results of the testing are provided directly to the parent. Parents are responsible to submit testing results to the school district in which they have filed their letter of intent.

APEX offers the College Board suite of tests (PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, PSAT/NMSQT and SAT) for high school students in grades 9-11.

All you need to do to sign up for Iowa Testing is pay the fee on RevTrack. Click the “RevTrack” link on the right hand menu bar, sign in with your student’s information as shown on the instructional RevTrack screen and you’re all signed up! The fee will be listed as “optional” for all students in grades 3-11 (Please Note – ITBS testing is NOT available to students in grade K-2 or 9-12. We were unable to offer the optional fee to only specific grades so all students will see it but ITBS testing is only available to grades 3-11. Students in Grades K-2 and 12 will not be eligible to test so please ignore the fee if it shows up on your account.)

To sign your student up, simply pay the optional fee  and your done! If you do not wish to sign your student up, leave the fee blank. Students registering to test after the December 1st deadline will be assessed an additional $10 late fee.
